1613 Basilius is a historical and script font published by GLC Foundry.
This family was created inspired from the typeface models hand drawn circa 1610s’ by Basilius Besler(Germany) for the carved plates of his splendid “Hortus eystettensis”, a botanical manual, masterpiece of the period.
This “Pro” font contains standard ligatures & numerous alternates, usable for Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Baltic and Turkish.
