UD Shin Go is a universal design sans-serif  typeface based on Shin Go, a widely popular type for its excellent legibility. The letterforms of UD Shin Go are also optimized to improve legibility, and for alphanumerics the highly legible Latin typeface ClearTone SG is employed. The type is particularly suitable for use in settings where clear and well-ordered design is desired, such as for displays and public signage.
