Appo paint was designed based on the events that occurred in 2006 in Oaxaca, when there were riots and street takeovers and protest graffiti flooded the city… one of those graffiti was the inspiration for this font…
many people have identified with the font… I imagine that graffiti on the street and the font have the same message of protest and strength.
