Arcticus is a semi-revival of the famous Benjamin Krebs Nachfolger Type Foundry's typeface named Reklame Kursiv which was in heavy use by printers all around Europe during the late 1800s. The original typeface was characterized by ornate drop caps with far-reaching ascenders and descenders which have faithfully been recreated along with alternative versions for many characters to make sure everything fits together perfectly.

The font comes in two variations: Standard and Outlined, both being based on the originals of the Krebs Nachf. Foundry of Frankfurt.
