Arpona Sans is a contemporary sans serif family inspired by the work of Edward Johnston for London Underground. Arpona Sans combines the esthetics of a geometric Sans with the usefulness of the humanist concept and the calm of the modernist proportions. Arpona Sans is a good choice for editorial design, branding, app design and web design – a workhorse well readable even in running text on screen.

Floodfonts is an independent type foundry based in Cologne, Germany and was founded in the year 2000 by Felix Braden. In the early days he designed numerous free typefaces – e.g. Bigfish, Moby and Hydrophilia are available in the Adobe Creative Cloud. In 2013 he won the Communication Arts Typography Annual and Pulpo Rust (aka Kontiki) was nominated for the German Design Award 2019. According to the foundry’s name almost all fonts have a reference to water.
