The Bauer Bodoni is a variation of the Bodoni typeface and was released by Heinrich Jost in the year 1926 for the Bauer Type foundry in Frankfurt, Germany. Heinrich Jost was the artistic director of the foundry from 1923 to 1948. The form of this typeface is closely related to Bodoni, but considered more delicate and graceful than other bodoni variants.
