Greg Thompson is an American typeface designer. He began designing original typefaces in 1989 for the new retail font market. He formed a decades-long association with The Font Bureau of Boston, and in 2016 launched his own foundry on Type Network. Greg’s typefaces are part of the visual landscape in branding retail product packaging, especially food and cosmetics, restaurants, entertainment, gaming, music and movie titles, book and magazine covers, and rental housing.
