Campfires is an eclectic and rustic new display face with surprising versatility, legibility and space economy for text usage. Features initially introduced for display character, such as subtly barbed stems and stroke variation, make the face a solid choice for medium length text as well. The face possesses a light-hearted outdoor vibe, but is equally suited for maps, diagrams and any usage which requires an equally solid legibility and human touch.
The bold weight provides not only a strong type treatment, but its cranked-up stroke variation make an interesting display choice. The italic takes the bouncy weight distribution of the Roman and shifts it decisively to the right for more fluidity and definite emphasis.
