I'd never had grits until I moved to Florida around 10 years ago. Almost everywhere I found them, they were loaded up with cheese. Which ... I'm never going to complain about added cheese, folks.

Cheesy Grits is a fun, fat, blobby font that's perfect for logos, branding, packaging, crafts, and tons of other projects. It has two uppercase sets for variety, plus a few additional double-letter ligatures and alternates.

I liked making Cheesy Grits so much, I decided to make a second "slim" version -- still as quirky and fun, but with thinner strokes, just so you have options!

BONUS! I'm trying something new with this one: if you have software that's friendly to OpenType features (like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop CC, or the latest Silhouette Studio Designer Edition), you're already good to go -- everything can be accessed through your Glyphs panel.

If, however, your design program doesn't have that built-in access, and you normally tend to use a secondary program like Character Map or Font Book, I have a treat for you! Your download includes a PDF with all of the characters included on it; instead of using Character Map/Font Book, you can copy the characters you want from the PDF, and paste them directly into your design program!

Cheesy Grits comes with my usual set of 300+ extended Latin characters for language support -- and they're all included in the PDF as well!
