Clarity & Clarity Lost make up a font family of opposites (clean vs. grunge) and their play on readability. From extremely legible to bordering on a little difficult to read and worn away, this set offers the designer a range of play. Inspired by many early wood type heavy Egyptian Slab Serif typestyles, the Clarity family has all of the classic traditional traits, while having a slightly more friendly display style to it.

Vintage wood type has such a great feel to it, with a slightly warmer and more personable styling to text faces than metal or digital counterparts. That's exactly what I wanted to try to embody with the Clarity Family. I hope you enjoy playing with it just as much as I had fun making it.
