Studioworks gets back to the basics with •• C L E R K •• — a typewritten display face. Clerk relives the days of manually fontstriking letters with keys, typebars and ink ribbons — a primitive time when a bell announced every carriage return.
Based on the early serif alphabets of the standard QWERTY typewriter, Clerk boasts a character set of well over 800 glyphs. With three additional Open Type alternatives for every character, you’ll be able to replicate the subtle, inconsistent qualities of typewriting’s imperfection. NOTE: Character alternatives are only available in those applications that support Open Type features.
Check out what you get with Clerk:
Use Clerk on logos, labels, headings, fliers, posters, brochures, manuscripts — any project that requires the understated simplicity of typographic contrast. Clerk brings a fundamentally earnest and empirical authority to your designs without all that backspacing and white out. TAP-TAP-DING!
NOTE: All featured designs use Clerk. The type specimen images all utilize the Papertuity Texture Blabsheet also available from StudioWorks.
