Fiddleshticks is a novelty font inspired by woodcuts. Woodcuts are prints made using cutting tools to carve a flat wood piece, spreading ink on the surface, leaving behind a rough-hewn look on the final printed image. It is an attempt to recreate outlined lettering in the style of this technique.
