Floridana is a script font published by preussTYPE.

Floridana is a digitizing of a handwriting font of Hildegard Korger. It was published in 1965 by Typoart Dresden as Typoskript. Hildegard Korger was very good teacher and professor at the ‘Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig’ since 1968. Born in 1935, she is famous for her writing on type and lettering, and some of her calligraphic productions. In Floridana are Latin Extended-A and Ligatures supported in OpenType.

Floridana have ligatures and contextual alternates to help with flow and readability. It can be used for invitations, greeting cards, posters, advertising, weddings, books, menus etc.
