This typeface is characterized by the accented shapes that can be seen in the beginnings and endings of each stroke, and which are typical of a pen script type. Based on handwriting with a pen or pencil, the design has a unique appearance different from other traditional brush script typeface designs such as the Kaisho-tai (Regular script) or Kyokasho-tai (Textbook) styles. This typeface is suitable for body text composition.
