Free download of Foulis Greek Font. Released in 2018 by Peter S. Baker and licensed for personal and commercial-use
The Junicode Greek Project aims to add the full Greek character set to the Junicode Font. The objectives:
The characters will be "old style," but usable in a modern context.
The Greek characters will harmonize with Junicode's Latin characters in size and weight.
The font will be usable for classical and biblical Greek: thus the Greek Extended (polytonic) characters will be included.
The ligatures used in older Greek printing will be included, and made available as an OpenType feature.
The model for the Greek character ranges is a Greek Double Pica designed by Alexander Wilson (1714-86) and used by the Foulis publishing house in Glasgow, a distinguished publisher of classical and other texts, for its renowned edition of Homer (1756-8).
