Freight is a practical attempt to unify Johann Michael Fleischmann and Stanley Morison’s signature text types. Although these historical faces appeared more than 150 years apart, they are remarkably similar in their embrace of the Dutch traits of economy, glister and crunch. Freight Text, Sans and Micro are the result of a seven-year quest to describe these virtues across a range of weights and morphologies, suitable for use across a variety of modern media.
