HANDSLAB is a hand-drawn, extended slab serif display typeface with a block drop shadow. The name was chosen to pay homage to the hand-crafted process of recreating historic extended slab serif letterforms from my mental impression of them, thus containing subtle quirky inconsistencies. The regular set and drop shadow were created as separate layers to produce a flexible system for use in print and on the web. HANDSLAB could be used to create compelling headlines, short paragraphs, and other unique design elements.
The download package contains two .TTF and .OTF font files for HANDSLAB (Regular and Block Drop Shadow), and also contains two pre-packaged @font-face kits. HANDSLAB supports the following languages: Albanian, Danish, Dutch, English, Faroese, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Malagasy, Norwegian, Spanish, Polish and Swedish.
