I bought a vintage copy machine in an antique shop, to experiment with. I drew an alphabet on a piece of paper, then copied it using the printer. The quality of the printer and toner was just so-so. I concluded that it would be probably better to use the copy machine for "low-fi" experimental projects… And this is how the font “
Herod” was born. After printing copies of the hand-drawn letters, I scratched the copies with a cutter blade to accentuate the eroded aspect of the print.
