Design: Brian Jaramillo with Tim Ahrens, 2010
JAF Peacock is a display family inspired by the flair typefaces of the 1970s. It contains more than 1,200 glyphs, and offers the designer a complete toolbox of contexÂtual and stylÂistic alternÂates as well as extenÂded language support. JAF Peacock was produced in a collabÂorÂaÂtion between Brian JaraÂmillo and Tim Ahrens.
The standard style (Peacock Bold) contains all glyphs, including alternates, which are accessible in most design applications via OpenType features. For applications that do not fully support OpenType features, such as MS Office, we included the alternates as five additional stand-alone fonts.
