Madeleine was designed by Kimmy Kirkwood and published by Kimmy Design.
Madeleine contains 3 styles and family package options.
In one of my senior thesis classes, I was assigned to design a logotype for a 5 Star hotel or restaurant. I instantly thought back to my study abroad travels in Italy, and specifically remembered marveling at a particular hotel, Le Sirenuse, in Positano, Italy on the Almafi Coast. I was traveling with my mom and we both loved the hotel so much we ate there one night just to marvel at its style (it was far too expensive to stay there.) I wanted the logo to be delicate and elegant. It looked to have a bit of french influence, but I took the curves from the handrails and furniture in the hotel.
I was so happy the way the logo-style ended, that I decided to create an entire typeface from it. I referenced a few other fonts, mostly to compare how every letter connected to each other. I ended up calling the font Madeleine, because of its delicate and elegant French style.
I have used the font in creating invitations, a baby book and vintage poster designs. I would recommend using in similar ways, but I leave it to the designer to decide.
