These fonts were inspired by a design seen on a movie poster from a few years ago. Our Disorder™ Bold font was converted into jagged edges and then the "cracks" were applied in appropriate places.

ABOUT MEDIOCRE™ WISECRACK™
The bold version of Mediocre™ has cracks (or splits) in the character shapes which are suitable for setting the type in larger point sizes. When setting the bold font in smaller sizes, you might find that the breaks are too small to look effective. In such cases, we suggest that you use the bonus Mediocre™ Wisecrack™ fonts whose character shapes, spacing and kerning are identical to that of the bold fonts, but whose cracks are a little wider.

ALTERNATE VOWEL CHARACTERS
When using Mediocre™ at larger point sizes, you are likely to type words which use two or more of the same vowel characters. You might find that your design will look more dynamic if you use alternate versions of the duplicate letters. Because most of the accent characters in this family are slightly different from their unaccented root characters, you can use them whenever you require alternate vowels. After typing the accent character, in your page layout or illustration program, you can then draw a white box and place it over top of the unwanted accent.

COMPANION FACES
If you are looking for a companion family which has similar character shapes but WITHOUT all the wisecracks, check out our Disorder™ family. You can license both families together at a reduced special rate.

FULL CHARACTER SET
Each font in the Mediocre™ family has a full character set of 232+ letterforms, with all characters designed in the style of the font.
