Mochon is a hand lettered display typeface based on the lettering of Donald Mochon. Don was the dean of the RPI school of Architecture until 1966. He was an immensely generous and special person who delighted all with his erudite/hilarious artwork. With luck, some of his madcap energy will make its way into your designs.
Mochon automatically shuffles alphanumeric variations for a more bouncy effect. The letter āIā automatically sprouts serifs in initials and possessive use. An alternative letter S is available in applications which support OpenType stylistic alternates.
