Motenacity was inspired by the title lettering from the 1963 Merry Melodies "Mad as a Mars Hare" featuring Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian. The lettering style had such a unique flavor, with an occasional slab serif in various placements on the letters. Drawn to the challenge of creating a full typeface of this style, I created this totally offbeat typestyle. Perfect for a range of designs that require a unique and playful vibe.

Cartoon titling has always been an influence in a range of my typefaces, and MoTenacity is a perfect example. I was drawn not only to the unique lettering style, but the challenge of trying to flesh out that style into a full typeface. I believe I've done just that, and I hope you'll have as much fun using the font as I had creating it.
