Munky is a simple beast with a slight retro twist. Some of the serifs are straight while others are more curvacious. Kind of harking back to the 60’s while having a touch of the letterpress about it.
I like to compare fonts to celebrities because I’m weird that way. If Munky was a celebrity it would be more Jeff Bridges than Adam Sandler.
A big chunk of charm
Because I made it with my graphics tablet it has the hand-crafted feeling Nothing is a perfect curve and it has a few kinks here and there and of course, I would say that adds to its charm—and it does.
Munky is a friendly typeface that looks great in all caps and is perfect for headlines and titles but is also very legible in sentence case.
It works well for packaging, books, invitations and anything where you want the casual look without being too cartoony.
