Myriad Bengali was designed with clarity for screen display in mind and is sturdy and dynamic in any setting, combining moderately low contrast with traditional proportions, and detailing informed by calligraphy. Designed by Neelakash Kshetrimayum, this extension of Adobe’s best-loved sans serif design provides a powerful range of typographic options typically unavailable for this writing system. Myriad Bengali includes 10 styles, featuring five weights from light to black with accompanying obliques. Bangla and Assamese languages are both supported.
