P22 Zaner
Zaner is based on ornamental penmanship as taught by Charles Paxton Zaner at his art college at the turn of the 20th century. There are four separate fonts that each have their own unique set of capital letters and whose details in the lowercase vary as well. These are:
Zaner One, with a smaller lower case meant to be set at large point sizes.
Zaner Two, with a larger lower case to be more useable at smaller sizes.
Zaner Three, with the larger lower case letters with shading introduced.
Zaner Four with a sturdier lower case to be used when a bolder lower case companion is needed or to add emphasis.
The Super Pro version of this font, in Opentype format, combines all of these styles into one font file and adds a much greater range of functionality. The Opentype font features contextual alternates that, when enabled, produce more natural connections between letters as you would see in normal handwriting. The Pro version also features support for Central European languages, stylistic sets, add-on swashes, ornaments, stylistic alternates, & numeral features (including superiors, inferiors & fractions).
