Pink Sangria was directly inspired by on of the lettering styles on the movie poster for the 1963 film, "The Thrill of It All" starring Doris Day and James Garner. It is a condensed and unstable looking lettering typeface built for childish and off kilter purposes. With a quickcut appearance this typestyle is offbeat and festive, perfect for putting some dignified childish offbeat flavor into your designs!
If you've been looking for a playful condensed typestyle with papercut looks, Pink Sangria is what you've been looking for.

In the late 50's and early 60's there were a collection of movies that had titling that looked like quickly handcut lettering, imbued with loads of personality. The poster for "The Thrill of It All" has several quirky lettering styles on it, one of which gave inspiration for Pink Sangria. I hope you enjoy playing with it just as much as I had fun making it.
