Our field team has spent countless hours restoring these vintage periods, delicately removing them from the strata of old pages and digitizing them for vectorized use or display. The unique character and form of each has been painstakingly preserved in order to add that perfect punch of personality to any headline or byline.
Not only does this collection include over 150 individual periods, but we have also included over a dozen additional punctuation marks, including several commas and apostrophes which are notoriously difficult to excavate (their little tail-type thingies tend to break off on the page). Even more, we have also included italicized versions of both the colon and semi-colon. This trove of vintage punctuation is the sort of thing Roy Chapman Andrews' dreams were made of!
