Rivendell font with classic, elegant, vintage, and magic feel. It’s perfect tool to create amazing designs, like vintage cards, modern t-shirts, retro posters, unusual mugs, luxury branding materials, and any other projects you are working on.
Rivendell is a symbiosis of many styles of writing - Uncial, Caroline minuscule and others. It’s a beautiful blackletter font with lots of OTF, which comes with 260 alternate letters to create real typography magic.
2 variants of alternate letters for the uppercase and 9 variants of alternate letters for the lowercase, make this font an unique tool for creating amazing handdrawn texts, richly decorated with swashes.
It’s very easy to get alternative glyphs:
just type the number after any letter (1…9 for lowercase and 1…2 for uppercase)
So, you can forget about the Glyphs panel and have fun and great results just type numbers after letters. Font is provided in OTF, TTF and WOFF formats.
You can still use the Glyphs panel. You’ll see there 260 stylistic alternate glyphs and beautiful extra swashes.
It has multilingual support, which include Western European, Central European and South Eastern European languages.
Rivendell font come with PUA Unicode that gives you full access to the ligatures and alternates in software that doesn't support the extra characters. To access these characters you can use Font Book (Mac) or Character Map (Windows).
