From 1878, this script by Richard Smith for MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan is possibly the most decorative Victorian script ever produced. It has been revived and updated for the modern print world by Liberty Type Foundry.
The fonts were designed with fine social typography in mind. Except for optical compensation differences, both fonts are identical in their OpenType feature sets. Both fonts contain identical discretionary ligatures, alternate character designs and stylistic variations which will enable the user to produce a variety of fine typography.
Smith Spencerian is best suited for print use.
