From 1878, this script by Richard Smith for MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan is possibly the most decorative Victorian script ever Âproduced. It has been revived and updated for the modern print world by ÂLiberty Type Foundry.
The fonts were designed with fine social typography in mind. Except for optical Âcompensation differences, both fonts are Âidentical in their OpenType feature sets. Both fonts contain identical discretionary ligatures, Âalternate character designs and stylistic variations which will enable the user to Âproduce a variety of fine typography.
Smith Spencerian is best suited for print use.
