Introducing Spry Roman. To create the initial lettering for Spry I started with the same kind of pens used for calligraphed wedding invitations. In this case 1 Zebra G nib and ink. Thick and thin strokes are determined by pressure when using a pointed pen nib. Using a slightly toothy paper when writing adds a but of texture to the writing. I tried to retain this texture in Spry Roman's glyphs.
Spry Roman Pro is a large OpenType format font with 964 glyphs. It is fully featured and includes Central European language support and a set of Small Caps. It also includes a useful set of border, ornaments, and flourishes.
