Tangential was born out of a simple idea:
I began the project with a circle to form the letter ‘o’ and after squaring off one corner, ended up with a letterform I hadn't seen elsewhere; this for me was motivation enough to see if I could complete the alphabet. Initially sketching out the characters to get an overview, I employed the angle wherever possible to create the tangential style of this particular typeface.
Tangential has three weights: Light, Medium and Bold, each with a tilted italic. See also Tangential Rounded & Tangential SemiSerif family variations.
All fonts come in Mac & PC compatible OpenType OTF & TrueType TTF formats.
