Valve is an industrial typeface with superelliptical letterforms and pragmatic stroke logic. Emotionless, android-like forms evoke plastics, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and alternative energy. Many ultramodern typefaces conjure tongue-in-cheek references to a retro futurism, but Valve is purely synthetic—built solely from artificial elements with no specific structural source. Most Latin-based languages are supported. OpenType fractions, numeric ordinals and lots of currency symbols are included. Valve is available in five weights: Extra-Light, Light, Regular, Bold and Heavy as well as a set of sleek obliques.
