WHAT SOUND POUNDS? was published by The Fontry. WHAT SOUND POUNDS? contains 8 styles and family package options.

You'll want to call it many things. You'll swear it's a sport font in distress. You'll imagine it emblazoned on the flanks of battered starships. You'll wonder what niche, what genre it was ever meant to occupy. Is it a display font? Text? Is that a noise in your ear? A sounding pound against your thoughts? Ask what you think of that sound and it's potential to melt you where you stand, and you'll find this very font staring back on you.

After a long, hot summer, this genre-siphoning face has finally been upgraded. WHAT SOUND POUNDS? is a family of 4 fonts now, with the addition of an extended version and two contoured drop shadow flavors that are guaranteed to leave you picking at your pieces. A layering feature, accessed by switching between Bold and Italic Styles, allows for instant color effects. And there's been some complaints about the 'parasites' growing off the sides of only 3 of the uppercase letters. Those who hate them want them gone. Those who like them want more. Both camps can now find satisfaction. Using OpenType Features or your Character Map will allow you to pick and choose the style you want.
