Whystor has been inspired by historic inscriptions of the 16th to 18th centuries. It is a new design from scratch. Whystor combines characteristic details with clarity and a distinguished noble touch. It features minimal serifs and a medium contrast. As an extra it provides a set of oldstyle figures and a few alternate glyphs (stylistic set 1).
Whystor is suitable for beautiful headlines and inscriptions, for menu cards, handsome book covers and film opening credits, but also shorter to medium-lenght texts bodies render very well readable in this rare typeface.
Whystor supports all Euro-Latin languages.
