Keetoowah evolved from a just a few letters in a thumbnail sketch for a sorority t-shirt design. The young ladies were very enthusiastic and the design was accepted. But, that wasn’t enough. They loved it and kept asking for more of the same lettering. After creating half of the alphabet, it only seemed proper to build a complete font.
Keetoowah has since found a more serious side. It has a great Southwestern flavor like smokey BBQ and patterned blankets. It wouldn’t look out of place on country music posters or the logo for a construction company. The stencil-like character of Keetoowah was made to be broken up and rendered as a two tone. It is best when separated, rotated, merged and jammed together.
