Zoning Department JNL is a comic and display sans font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.
A 1930s-era sign lettering template set manufactured for the National Carbon Company by Wrico (The Wright-Regan Instrument Company) yielded the familiar lettering that comprises Zoning Department JNL.
This rounded-end typestyle was also widely used on architectural drawings, signage, blueprints and the like.
