Zubilo is an informal decorative sans serif designed by Gennady Fridman basing on an informal lettering and released by ParaType in 2004. In Russian "Zubilo" means "Cold cutter" or "Chisel". Colorful letterforms seem to be cut by an amateurish but strong hand used to rough metal tools, not a pen or pencil. The face is good for advertisements, posters and headlines, especally for comic editions and youth press. Decorative styles were added in 2011 by the same author.
