Beefcake had a chip on its shoulder they were knocked off as you can see by the softened corners. The angled terminals are fan favorites and the extent of its playfulness. On the other hand the strong back and hefty line weights let you know it's willing to put in some long hours and carry a burden.
Beefcake is a perfect choice for those times when the typographic personality needs to be strong, but not take itself too seriously.
