YWFT Selek was designed in 1998 with the idea of exploring machine like forms with a softer touch. The final design is somewhere between mechanical and electronic, at the same time it is very experimental in longer text. For legibility it is best to use the Light weight, but for very strong impact and weight, the Extra Bold option is always a strong design solution.
YWFT Selek was converted to opentype format in 2010.
